On Friday, May 22, was the last day of school! It was only a half day. Elise took finals all the way up to the final bell, while Kendyl played games all day and had a pinic! After school was out, Elise and Kendyl played with Anna for the rest of the day, and Anna loved it! She's so happy whenever her sister's are home and can play with her!

Elise at Jazz Band Concert

Monday night, May 11th was the WHS Jazz Concert. Elise played the piano for Jazz 3 and was one of the featured soloist. Great job, Elise!

Spring Piano Recital

Saturday night, May 9th, was Leann's annual Spring Recital. I had 20 students play. This was a "Popular Recital" in that all the music was familiar music--folk tunes, pop music, Beatles music, or movie themes. Very fun!

State!

On May 2 was state. Elise did a wonderful job and got a 1 rating!!!!! The judge was ok. He really didn't give out very many 1 ratings, but he gave out a lot of 2 ratings, and some 3 ratings as well. Elise did very well, considering she's only a freshman, and this is her first year!
