Easter weekend we had an Easter Egg Hunt at our house. Each child had their own color of Easter eggs that they were to find. It was a beautiful day.

Pinewood Derby

Kendyl tied for the Grand Champion of the Co Ed Pinewood Derby! She tied with Dallin Crockett.

Funeral

The funeral for Grandma was very nice. It was a beautiful day.

In memory of Grandma Allen

Grandma Allen passed away on April 15, 2009--just 2 days before her 90th birthday. Her funeral was April 18th. She was buried in Safford, Arizona. She was a wonderful Grandma who enjoyed being around her family.

Leann went to Arizona to the funeral.

Districts!

On April 4, Elise had Districts. She did very well and will be going to state! She got a 1 on her piano solo, and a 2 on her clarinet solo. Even a 2 is very good, especially for a freshman. She played Bagatelle by Tcherepnin and Bear Dance by Bartok on the piano.
State in May 2. She has a month to work those songs up to perfection!
Just want Kendyl wants, another month to listen to those songs. She is getting annoyed by those songs, since Elise has been playing them for about 4 months now!
